Helen Burns

 I think I was about 12 when I discovered 'Jane Eyre'. I discovered the 2009 miniseries first...was it 2009? Idk. Then I was like 'MUST READ THE BOOK!' Of course it was a little too hard for my pre-teen brain, but I was determined. Now, 2 years later, I'm only up to page 174...yep. Great motivation. Anyways, I was watching the recent version and I decided that I suddenly adored Helen, especially her red hair. Unfortunately, it's cut off in the book when the dick of a head-master decides that he doesn't likes curls or something stupid like that.  

Poor Helen. I cry every time I get up to her death scene
