I know, the background sucks balls but I don't give a damn. LOOK AT THE EPONINE I DREW. LOOK AT HER. GUYS I DREW SOMETHING SUCCESSFUL. I AM PROUD OF IT AND I DON'T CARE IF I LOOK LIKE I'M BLOWING MY OWN TRUMPET.

So this is a scene where Eponine begs Javert to take her and the baby to the beach on a Sunday. He agrees, with MUCH persuasion, but only near sunset. Of course Javvie doesn't want any of his colleagues seeing him being fluffy. So then they get there but, of course, Eponine simply wants to rip her clothes off and jump. Javert, obviously, intervenes and goes and buys her a swimming costume, refusing to let her swim until she changes. (Upon researching swimming costumes of that era, I had to fight the urge not to just let Eponine swim naked. The poor women who had to wear those layers! Talk about modest. Mind you, these were people who thought that 'trousers' and 'leg' were rude words so watevs.' Of course I gave Eponine a little less padding than those atrocious things. So carrying on, as soon as she's changed, Eponine can't help but to run straight into the freezing sea, leaving poor Javert to look after the baby. Honestly Eponine, do you even motherhood? But, Eponine soon comes running back as she realises it wasn't as warm as she thought it to be. Upon her doing so, Javert makes some comment about her being a 'foolish gamin' to which Eponine responds by taking the baby from him and pushing Javert into the sea. Get your running shoes on Eponine, cos there's one angry inspector after you!
